Pack a lunch and join us for this 90-minute class all about prenatal wellness! Sorting through the abundance of information and choices to be made regarding pregnancy, birth and parenting can be overwhelming. We will explore important nutrition, fitness and lifestyle choices that can help you have the healthiest pregnancy possible. We will spend time evaluating current choices and brainstorm ways to improve where needed. Topics will include: physical and emotional changes experienced by expectant parents, physical activity during pregnancy (exercise, relaxation, proper body mechanics), changes in lifestyle (smoking, drugs, alcohol), discomforts of pregnancy (causes and possible remedies), and proper nutrition during pregnancy.
